Becoming an Owner or Alternate

Owners

To become the owner of a job, you need to do the following:

• Review the job description on the wiki
• Sign on to the volunteer registration site, click on the "Learn about Clinic Jobs and View Help Wanted List" link.
• Scroll down the page to find the job you are interested in owning
• Click on the link "Click here if you want to own this job!"

An e-mail will be sent confirming we have received your ownership request. The current owner will do one of the following:

• make you the new owner
• make you an alternate owner
• contact you about this request via phone or e-mail
• reject the request.

Which of these is done is up to the discretion of the owner (or Thousand Smiles if there is no owner for the job).

Alternates

To become the owner of a job, you need to do the following:

• Sign on to the volunteer registration site, click on the "Learn about Clinic Jobs and View Help Wanted List" link.
• Scroll down the page to find the job you are interested in owning
• Click on the link "Click here if you want to become an alternate owner!"

An e-mail will be sent confirming we have received your alternate ownership request. One of the following will be done by the current owner:

• make you an alternate owner
• make you the new owner (if there is no owner)
• contact you about this request via phone or e-mail
• reject the request.

Which of these is done is up to the discretion of the owner (or Thousand Smiles if there is no owner for the job).
