iPad - was released on April 3, 2010. Since then it has been ‘‘iPad Mania". The extent of what you can do with an iPad is endless. Thegoal is to land the Lunar Module safely on the moon in this 3D space game. Be careful that it doesn't come down to fast or it will crash. You need to watch out for the debris and other obstacles. The video graphic images keeping it in that time period are fantastic. The app is free.
There are great iPad apps for reading like searching through your news feeds, flipping through links your friends have tweeted, and finding out what's happening in the world. The flipboard's clean, simple interface makes it the best way to read just about anything, and if you spend a few minutes customizing your sources from the free app's long list of options, it becomes a near-perfect one-stop news shop on your iPad.
Running Dead
Your in a world with zombies and you're the last human left in this third-person shooter. You must run and find a path to safety, destroying the zombies in your way. While you are doing this you have zombies chasing you. Every time you play it there is a different path. It has two scenarios: city or country.
Paper
There are a lot of iPad apps everywhere for drawing, but none come close to being as good or as fun as Paper. There are several different tools you can use to draw. Plus a color picker that makes the creative process flow with ease. It's a very fun app whether you're super talented or not or just want to have a some fun. Paper is free to get started, but you also have the option to pay for more brushes, colors, and other features.
Tumblr
Tumblr recently released its free iPad app, but it's already become a favorite for many people. Hook it up to a Bluetooth keyboard and you have a great blogging engine. You can take pictures and easily upload your photos. It is very clean looking and user friendly making browsing the network a piece of cake.
Anatomy 3D
This iPad app takes learning the body to a new level. This app combines 3D models with video, audio, quizzes and text to explain the body's organs. This app is for anyone who wants to know more about the human anatomy.
Instapaper
Reading on your iPad can sometimes be tedious from all the clutter. Instapaper for the iPad, the $5 app strips all the ads and clutter from an article, and downloads it to your tablet so you can read it from anywhere in the world. Even if you are offline. This app strips it all down to the bare bones of the words you really want to read.
Star Walk
Do you like to star gaze? If you do, Star Walk is for you. The fun $2.99 stargazing iPad app lets you point your iPad at the sky and learn about whatever you're looking at. They have a night mode, so you can still see the sky and not just the iPad's screen. You can find constellations, planets, stars, or a see your first UFO:)
Night Flight
Stunning, detailed 3D graphics. This app can be fun for teens but addictive for adults. The goal is to help a teddy bear in a toy airplane escape from a toy factory before it's too late. There are numerous levels to this app and many enemies and challenges. This game is addicting fun.
